What is the difference between frameless and semi-frameless shower screens?

Frameless shower screens have minimal hardware and no structural framing, while semi-frameless screens include a perimeter frame for additional support.

Are semi-frameless shower screens durable?

Yes. The aluminium frame provides added strength while the glass panels are made from toughened safety glass.

Are semi-frameless shower screens easier to maintain than framed screens?

Yes. Because there is less framing around the glass, they tend to collect less soap residue and are easier to clean.

Are semi-frameless screens cheaper than frameless?

In most cases, semi-frameless shower screens are more affordable while still offering a modern bathroom appearance.

This guide covers pricing across all three screen types: framed, semi-framed, and frameless. Prices vary by glass size, hardware finish, and installation complexity. Use this guide to budget before getting a quote.
